spring fever

Lately, I have been out and about. I started a new 'day time job' about 3 months ago and have been transitioning. Not too mention, I used to work with my BFF's, so all of a sudden, changing jobs now means that I have to work FULL time (I was working part time) and now had a very full social life. I am not complaining, I like being busy, however, my studio get dusty.

On Friday I snuck home a little early to enjoy the sunshine. I had no intentions of visiting my studio, until I remembered a friends 30th birthday that is this weekend. I don't know about you, but for me, it's weird if I give friends anything BUT something I make for them.

So downstairs I went.  Armed with Juice and some chocolate (i work better when I bribe myself). I have to admit, the studio was feeling a bit neglected.  I had little piles of things that needed to be sorted, organized and put away.  So I plugged away. I didn't sort everything, but managed to clean off a small area for the torch and metals. I made Lisa, a gorgeous necklace. Then managed to pull myself upstairs around 10pm or so.

I hope to make it downstairs for a few more hours this weekend. Although the weather is going to be gorgeous. IT will be competing with my studio!
