today i noticed. everytime i enter high park i take off my ipod. I walk there for 15 minutes listening to music. then once i enter the park. i remove the headphones. I guess it's because going to high park (mostly the dog area) is such an interactive experience. you say hello to everyone. and have random conversations with a number of people. today. for example. i talked to at least 10 people! 10. there was maybe 25 people that i ran into. and i said hello to probably 20 of those 25 people. with headphones on....I wouldn't had the opportunities i have. I like the dog community. we are all so friendly to each other. Imagine we were like that on the subway? walking down the street? what a world it would be.
